La materia es todo aquello que se extiende en cierta región del espacio-tiempo, que posee energía y está sujeto a cambios en el tiempo y a interacciones con aparatos de medida. Se considera que es lo que forma la parte sensible de los objetos perceptibles o detectables por medios físicos.
Matter is everything that extends into a certain region of space-time, that possesses energy and is subject to changes in time and to interactions with measuring devices. It is considered to be that which forms the sensitive part of objects that are perceptible or detectable by physical means.
